What is Window Wallpaper?

Window Wallpaper is made from a very thin self adhesive vinyl film that has been specially designed to give an appearance of frosted / etched glass.

Do you need to be good at diy - is the film easy to install?

Our residential window film is very easy to install. You will receive step by step instructions to help make it as simple as possible. We produce the film exactly to your measurements there will be no need for any trimming. (The plain frosted film and the ‘Value’ range will need trimming after fitting).

Do I need any specialist diy tools for fitting the film?

There's no need for any specialist diy tools. All you need is a craft knife, plant spray bottle and a small glass scraper - we will supply a hard squeegee free with your order.

Can the film be removed?

Yes. Despite being durable and hard wearing, our residential window film can be easily removed. However it cannot be reused once removed.

Will condensation or heat affect the film?

No. The film will not be affected in any way.

Can I use the film in a bathroom?

Yes you can use it in your bathroom. Window film is suitable to use in any room in your house – however we do not recommend you apply it to the inside of shower screens.

What kind of window is the film suitable for?

Any flat, smooth and clean glass surface.

Is it easy to keep clean?

Yes. Simply wipe over with a damp lint-free cloth.

Can I see out of the window film?

No, because of the frosted effect you can only see out of the 'cut-out' areas of the film.

How long will the residential window film last?

With the correct care our residential window film will retain its looks for many years, it is difficult to put an exact time because of individual circumstances.

How long does delivery take?

Plain frosted film is dispatched within 1-2 days. All other residential window orders are dispatched within 7-10 days from receipt of your order.
