Making A Purchase
We accept all major credit and debit cards. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet if you prefer.
We must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted. For web orders we will confirm that your order has been accepted by sending an email to you at the email address you provide in your order form. If your order is made using the telephone then we will confirm acceptance of the order during that call and these terms and conditions apply to such an order. Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us. For telephone orders acceptance of delivery of the goods shall be deemed conclusive evidence of your acceptance of these terms and conditions.
The prices payable for goods that you order are as set out in our website or as quoted by our customer services representative on the telephone.
Delivery
All PLAIN FROSTED FILM will be received within 2-3 working days. All PATTERNED frosted film will be received within 7-10 days. This is because the patterned film is bespoke made to your measurements. International orders are generally received in under 21 days.
Items that have not arrived - Window Wallpaper operate a 25 working days policy from the date of your order before we can class your order as being lost in transit. If your goods do not arrive once these timescales have been breached then we'll gladly refund you the full amount or repeat your order. We will have no liability to you to issue a refund or replacement order if we have not been notified by yourself of non delivery of your order after 30 working days.
Cancellation by us
We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if:
- We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered;
- We do not deliver to your area; or
- One or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers.
- If you are unable to make payment with your credit card or your card issuer does not authorise payment.
- If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by e-mail and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of your order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
Unless otherwise expressly stated in these terms and conditions, all notices from you to us must be in writing and sent to our contact address at Visual House, 2a Winchester Avenue, Blaby, Leicester, LE8 4GZ or by e-mail to info@windowwallpaper.co.uk
Invalidity
If any part of these terms and conditions is unenforceable (including any provision in which we exclude our liability to you) the enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected.
Third Party Rights
Except for our affiliates, directors, employees or representatives, a person who is not a party to this agreement has no right under the UK Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of this agreement but this does not affect any right or remedy of a third party that exists or is available apart from that Act.
If you have any complaints regarding the website or any goods which you have purchased, please e-mail us in the first instance at info@windowwallpaper.co.uk where your complaint will be dealt with fairly and efficiently.
Entire Agreement
These terms and conditions, together with our current website prices, delivery details, contact details and privacy policy, set out the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of the goods to you by us. Nothing said by any sales person on our behalf should be understood as a variation of these terms and conditions or as an authorised representation about the nature or quality of any goods offered for sale by us. Save for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, we shall have no liability for any such representation being untrue or misleading.
Governing Law
The contract between us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law and the English courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us.
Tax Charges
All prices unless expressly stated are inclusive of VAT@ 20.0%.
Credit Card Security
All credit card numbers are encrypted when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption SSL Secured. We do not see or store any customer credit card details, as all payment is received through PROTX, our secure payment partner.
Guarantee
All of our products carry a 12 month warranty against cracking, discolouration and delaminating. Please note that the vast majority of problems found with Window Films are due to installation error and not product failure. We recommend that customers follow our installation instructions accurately to promote a trouble free product life. This does not affect your statutory rights.
We reserve the right to inspect claims under the above warranty prior to any settlement being authorised.
Once you recieve your order take the film out of the tube and lay / smooth it out flat as this will stop any further curling of the film. If you are unable to fit the film straight away, then it must be stored away flat and away from any forms of condensation and fitted within 28 days of delivery to avoid any drying out of the adhesives or moisure damage to the release liner that may occur. Failure to fit your product within 28 days from delivery will void your warranty. Please call if you are unsure about storing the film prior to installation.
When purchasing a Window Wallpaper product the buyer agrees that the product installation quality is determined by their own, or their appointed installer's ability and Window Wallpaper can not be held responsible for defects or breakages resulting from poor installation. These include, but are not limited to, bubbling, visual impairment, scratches, glass breakage or cracking, damage to surrounding fixtures and fittings, paintwork, personal injury and financial loss.
Privacy Policy
Window Wallpaper do not disclose buyers' information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping basket once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses and to store your personal details. NO CREDIT CARD DETAILS ARE STORED ON OUR SYSTEM. These remain encrypted with our secure payment partner PROTX.
Returns Policy
Each Frosted Patterned Window Film Design is a bespoke made item, for any supply of goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised or which by reason of their nature i.e. a personal design, cannot be returned or refunded. If your order is damaged in anyway once you receive it, please email or phone us straight away and DO NOT attempt to fit, we will replace the damaged goods once they have been returned to us. (We are unable to replace damaged goods if you have tried to fit them). You can return 'Plain Frosted Film' within 14 days of delivery for a refund as this is not a bespoke made item. Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm We recommend you use an insured carrier such as ROYAL MAIL RECORDED DELIVERY. Please quote your order/invoice number with all returns so that we can identify where the returned item came from.
If your order is damaged in anyway once you receive it i.e. creases in the film, please email or phone us straight away and DO NOT attempt to fit the film, we will replace the damaged goods straight away. (We are unable to replace damaged goods if you have tried to fit them)
